Indian political changes in the early 1990's, combined
with global technological advances of the late 1990's, have transformed
India from an insular third world country into an educated, competitive,
economic juggernaut.
This country of 1.1 billion people is now the largest English-speaking
democracy in the world - with a populace eager to compete and win in the
world economy.
In late 2005, I decided to go to India and see for myself: the rise of
the Indian economy and its implications for America. This
